Over 100 learners have been admitted into PETC’s Solar and Electrical Engineering programme. Categories of learners admitted were sponsored learners, who were enrolled into Ghana TVET Voucher Project (GTVP) Electrical Installation programmes to be training for National Proficiency 1 and 2(NP I, NPII) TVET qualification level. Some other learners were also admitted into PartnerAfrica Project (UWZ) affordable fee paying short solar programme, and GIZ sponsored Short Term Skilled Training Session (STST). The trainees are undergoing an intensive hands-on Competency-Based Training (CBT) session in PETC’s state-of-the-art Electrical training facility in Adako Jachie, Kumasi.
